Tonight the boys Ishpeming Hematites had their last regular season game when they went to Norway to play the Knights.
After a slow first half and being down by eight points at the end of the first half, the Hematites started to catch up to Norway. At the end of the 3rd quarter they had cut the Norway lead to four points and then traded the lead with Norway in the fourth quarter. It would take a buzzer beater for the win.
The Hematite boys finished the season 15-5 and tied Iron Mountain and Negaunee for first place in the Mid-Peninsula Conference, and start the districts next week by taking on Gwinn Modeltowners on Wednesday, March 9th in Ishpeming. Pregame will be 5:30PM and tip off will be at 6PM and will be broadcast right here at 98.3 WRUP The Classic Rock Experience.
